DESCRIPTION:The event will provide exchange visitors with the opportunity to learn how to be safe in Galveston\, meet with other participants\, be entered into a raffle\, and their bikes with everyone! \nTwo opportunities to check in provided – see below. \nTime to check in:8:30AM & 10:30PM – We will have Refreshments\, snacks\, and a raffle for 2 helmets.\nLocation: 26th and Seawall Blvd\, Galveston\, TX 77551 – There will be a tent set-up.\nTransportation: biking\, walking or taking the ttextexrolley ($1) : http://www.galvestontx.gov/816/Trolley-Information \nWater & snacks will be provided and all attendee’s names will be put in a raffle to win a Bike Helmet!\nJoin us for a fun bike ride\, Safety instructions and receive the required by law bike lights free! \nEvent schedule:\n· 8:30AM – 1st Registration at the Pleasure Pier Parking Lot\n· 9:00 AM – Distribution of bike lights and refreshments\n· 9:30AM – Complete Bike route safely with everyone\n· 10:00AM – Closing statements and raffle prize\n· 10:30AM – 2nd Registration at the Pleasure Pier Parking Lot\n· 11:00 AM – Complete Bike route safely with everyone\n· 11:30AM – Distribution of bike lights and refreshments\n· 12:00PM – Closing statements and raffle prize \nBike Route:\nWe will start on 25th street towards Broadway Street –> 19th street –>Seawall back to Pleasure Pier parking lot.
